Baltic Ivy is a very hardy variety has medium-sized dark green leaves. Winter colour is bronzy-red.
Hedera helix var. baltica is easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils. Tolerates a wide range of soils, but prefers rich loams. Tolerates some drought, but produces best foliage color in evenly moist soils. Stems will root into the ground growing as a vine, climbing trees or buildings to a height of 20 feet or more, the stems are self-clinging.
