- Sedum is
low-maintenance, drought and soil tolerant.
- Grows best in full sun, but takes some shade.
- Plant in well drained soil with 8 hours of sun exposure for best results.
- Propogate by stem, or leaf cuttings, or from seed.
- Great cut flowers and popular with butterflies
Group in rock gardens, on a bank, as groundcover and for borders. Most species have attractive fall flowers. Pruning in early mid summer will encourage growth and fall flowers. Do not deadhead for winter color. After several years, if the center of plant starts to die out it is time to divide.
