Common Name: Blackberry Lily, Leopard Flower
Zones 4 to 10.

Growth rate: Moderate, slowly spreads by creeping rhizomes.
'Hello Yellow' produces a profusion of bright yellow, star-shaped flowers emerge above a compact clump of green, sword-shaped foliage. Though the typical Belamcanda flower is heavily spotted, 'Hello Yello' is not. Its foliage is sword-shaped like that of a tall bearded Iris.
Belamcanda blooms for weeks in late summer, and its season of interest is extended into fall with the interesting seed pods which develop. Tan, pear-shaped pods burst open to reveal clusters of black seeds resembling blackberries, hence the common name. Through the winter they are attractive in fresh or dried flower arrangements.
Mature field grown plant shipped bare root.
