Mature foliage height 24 to 36 inches and 2 foot spread.
Pale blue green upright succulent foliage. Large clusters of rosy pink flowers in late summer change to copper red in the fall. Upright habit does not fall apart with age.
Prefers sandy, well-drained soil, avoid overwatering. Tolerant poor soils, extreme heat, drought; however, it is not tolerant of wet or poorly drained soils. Attracts butterflies; if left standing, they provide winter interest and food for birds.
Good ground cover, use as a border plant; or in rock gardens.
Very similar to 'Autumn Joy', but tighter growth habit, thicker foliage, and more brightly colored rosy flowers which are produced from late summer into fall.
