Evergreen to semi-evergreen, forms a mat of small, round, reddish-green foliage in spring, changes to deep green in summer, and returns to bronze in fall, then glossy purple in winter. Spires of tiny, round blue flowers emerge in very early spring and might rebloom throughout the summer.
Vigorous and easy-to-grow plant in average to poor, medium to moist, well-drained soils. Excellent in rock gardens, borders, and as a ground cover. Attracts Butterflies and Deer resistant. |
