SALVIA nemorosa 'Snow Hill'
a/k/a 'Schneehugel'.
Zone: 4 to 9.
Full sun to partial shade.
Mature size: up to 20 inches height; spreads 15 to 18 inches.
Dense, white blooms atop multiple spikes over aromatic dark gray-green, lance-shaped foliage. First flower spikes bloom heavily in early summer and then sporadically. Erect compact growth habit can be cut back to increase rebloom throughout the summer.
Easy to grow in average, clay or sandy, well-drained soils. Drought tolerant and humidity tolerant.
Use as a perennial border, rock gardens, in mass plantings, and container gardens; provides excellent cut flowers and indoor arrangements, fresh or dried. A magnet for butterflies, bees and hummingbirds; also rabbit and deer resistant.
