Common Name: Creeping Phlox or Moss Phlox.
Full sun to partial shade.
Colorful and compact, creeping phlox can reach 6 inches in height and spread out 2 feet, creating a thick mat of evergreen to semi-evergreen needle-like foliage. Some of the foliage remains green throughout the winter in most zones. Spring flowers attract butterflies.
Cold-hardy to zone 3, it does benefits with protection from winterburn.
Use in rock gardens, along paths, on slopes, at foundations, hillsides, and at the edge of beds or low walls (for short cascading effect). Native Cultivar. *Sold as a Flat of eighteen (18) plants in four (4) inch pots. Each Flat counts as one item when calculating shipping cost.
