Mature size: Vigorous-growing, clinging climber.
Juvenile leaves are small heart shaped, 1 inch long by about 3/4 inch wide, and creates a mat of foliage about 1 inch high. After the vine has reach the apex of its support, 3 inch long by 2 inch wide, leathery, dark green adult foliage emerges on horizontal branches.
Easy to grow in most any soil, even at the seaside if protected behind dunes or buildings.
Creeping fig makes dense foliage cover for walls, poles, arbors and fences, or create animals and cartoon character wire topiary forms like the ones at Disney theme parks. This great groundcover can damaged wooden structures, and would require constant pruning to maintain a certain shape or appearance. Use in a hanging basket or container for its cascading effect.
