Evergreen, low-growing, lush, and tightly mounding succulent groundcover with cylindrical leaves. Thick, fleshy, shiny, green leaves; 1.2 inches long; reddish tinge in fall. Large salmon-pink daisy-like flowers in spring
Attracts butterflies and deer resistant. This plant is so cool, it is cold to the touch. Appeared in 1997 as a sport of dwarf, alpine form of Delosperma cooperi at Denver Botanic Gardens.
Grow in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils. Drought resistant, do not over water this plant from South Africa.
Use as groundcover for rock gardens or for slopes, perfect for the xeriscape landscape. If planted in container use lots of sand and small gravel to insure good drainage.
