Cotoneaster dammeri 'Lowfast'
a/k/a bearberry cotoneaster.
Zone: 4 to 10.
Full sun to filtered sun.
Mature size 12 to 15 inches height;
vigorous, mat forming shrub spreads as stems root when they contact the ground.
Glossy, semi-evergreen, green, elliptical foliage turns purplish in winter. Bright white fragrant spring flowers produce dark red fruit.
Care free plant is easily grown in well-drained soil. Extremely hardy, drought and deer tolerant.
Use in rock gardens, on banks and slopes as a shrub border, near walls for cascading effect, or for ground cover.
