Bright yellow flowers with, burgundy-brown, ringed eyes. Each petal has a serrated edge, giving the 2.5- inch flower a frilly appearance. Starts blooming in late spring and will continue until late summer if deadheaded. The abundance of blooms and ease of culture make this a popular selection.
'Sterntaler' grows in dry to medium moisture, most soil conditions with good drainage, including sandy or rocky. It is tolerant of humidity, heat and drought. Plants may be cut back hard in summer if foliage sprawls or becomes unkempt.
