Lysimachia Nummularia - CREEPING JENNY Lysimachia Nummularia - CREEPING JENNY Lysimachia Nummularia - CREEPING JENNY
Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea'
Common Name: CREEPING JENNY, MONEYWORT and CREEPING CHARLIE.
Zones 3 to 9.
Sun or shade.
Rounded, slightly ruffled, leaves will be yellow in full sun to lime green in shade. Low-growing, creeping ground cover forms a dense, leafy mat only 2 to 4 inches tall. Bountiful, cup-shaped, bright yellow flowers emerge in early summer to fall.

Rooting where leaf nodes come in contact with the soil, ‘Aurea’ is easily grown in average, medium to wet, well-drained soil. Intolerant of dry soils, it can sometimes be invasive.

Good plant for shady places, under trees or on a creek bank. Use for covering banks, as a border, around water gardens, or in rustic containers, old stumps, and hanging baskets or walls for cascading effect.

Easily propagated by division.
Not available for shipment to MA.
Shipped bare root.

Price: $6.00
