Full sun and well-drained soil.
Evergreen, low-growing trailing succulent groundcover with cylindrical leaves. Showy purplish pink, daisy-like blooms from early-summer through frost. In autumn the leaves turn golden yellow with flushes of pink at the tips.
Mature height 3 inches, plant 9 to 12 inches apart.
Drought resistant, do not over water this plant from South Africa.
Attracts butterflies.
Use as groundcover for rock gardens or for slopes,
perfect for the xeriscape landscape. If planted in container use lots of sand and small gravel to insure good drainage.
This plant is so cool, it is cold to the touch.
Propagation from cuttings, division, or from seed.
