Mature height 4 to 5 feet, width 5 feet.
Deep red buds open to magenta-red flowers measuring 9 to 11 inches wide. The flowers have heavily overlapping petals and are produced at the nodes all the way up the reddish purple stems, coating the plant in blossoms from midsummer until frost. Long blooming Hibiscus forms a beautiful upright mound of well-branched, maple-like, dark green foliage which is bronze when it first emerges.
