Spring 2009 Open House
Due to our traveling spring plant show schedule, Linda's continued recuperation and the impending
birth of grandchildren, we are unable to host as many Open House dates this spring.
We anticipate
posting some dates soon. |
If you plan to pick up your plants at our Gwinnett County
location, when checking out, select Customer Pick-up as the shipping method.
Please schedule an appointment for all order pick-ups.
Some items and flats are shipped from other locations.
Contact us to see if you qualify for
free shipping.
Container prices may be different than bare root prices posted on web site.
Not all plants or hardgood items are
always available at our Gwinnett County Nursery; and the greenhouse location is not open to the public.
Feel free to call ahead to confirm what is blooming.
Though we
- have a small sign out on the
highway,
- do not keep regular retail
hours,
- are not set-up for a lot of foot
traffic,
you are welcome to come
visit.

dates, please call (678-376-7987) or email (mike@bloomindesigns.com ) before you come, as we are
few -
- on Monday and Tuesday we are digging, cleaning and
packing plants for shipment,
- Wednesday through Friday,
hopefully, we are making some deliveries,
- in between, we are planting, fertilizing, watering,
weeding, etc. (most of the computer and paperwork is done at night),
- weekends are usually spent getting ready for or doing
the above,
- Fridays and Saturday are the best days to visit if you want the
daylily or hosta 25 cent tour, Click here for a picture

and this location is our home, so if you
would like to visit or pick-up plants, please do, but please call first or
schedule an appointment (otherwise you are subject to meeting Grandma, and if
you do not have an appointment, you do not want to meet Grandma)
If you do visit, we often have
special prices on select container plants and some plants available in 3 gallon
containers, so be sure to ask.

We are located almost 8 miles southeast of the Georgia Mall 
from I-85
exit #115 / Hwy 20 towards Buford, proceed past the Mall,
at traffic light, turn right on to Gravel Springs (Hwy 324), we are about 8
miles on the left.
(Gravel Springs Rd changes names to Auburn Rd @ intersection with Hwy 124)
from Hwy 316
at traffic light, exit Hwy 8 through Dacula,
turn left at traffic light on to Auburn Rd (Hwy 324).
We are about 2 miles on the right.
Watch for the street # and a small sign at the road. You can not see the
nursery from the highway
